Why do we give scholarships?
We are passionate about ministering to the next generation of urban folk. Since launching our flagship ministry project, URBANwell Magazine, we have set aside the first page of each issue to celebrate millennials and the next generation. Recipients must be nominated by a community member. Once nominated, they are required to submit a personal essay to be reviewed by the editorial team of URBANwell Magazine. If selected to be published they are awarded a scholarship. To date, we have published 13 spotlights and awarded a total of $14,000 in scholarships.
